About the Role

Mendel seeks a driven and experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) Manager to lead our dynamic sales team. In this crucial role, you will oversee a team of BDRs, guiding them to communicate our AI-driven solutions to the healthcare industry effectively. Your primary focus will be on team leadership, strategic sales planning, and fostering strong client relationships to drive sales growth and brand recognition. Working closely with marketing, product development, and sales teams, you will ensure that our value proposition is articulated and aligns with client needs.

This is not a remote position. The ideal candidate will need to be onsite/available in San Jose 5 days a week.

You Will:

  • Lead and Mentor: Cultivate a high-performing BDR team through leadership, training, and coaching. Set clear targets and drive the team to exceed sales goals.
  • Develop Sales Strategies: Create and execute strategic sales plans to expand our client base in the healthcare sector. Analyze market trends and align efforts with marketing and product teams.
  • Build Client Relationships: Establish and nurture strong relationships with healthcare stakeholders, ensuring our AI solutions meet their evolving needs.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with marketing and product teams to ensure consistent messaging and leverage insights for targeted sales approaches.
  • Analyze and Report: Use data analysis to track team performance, market trends, and client feedback, continually refining our sales strategy.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in healthcare or AI technology.
  • Demonstrated ability in leading sales teams to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and data analysis techniques.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in the healthcare or AI technology sectors.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful B2B sales strategies.
  • Experience in team management and sales training.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and sales metrics.

Compensation

$100,000 - $130,000 (OTE $200,000 - $260,000)
