We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Zagreb and provide support to our greater EMEA population. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide range of HR activities, including fostering a positive office culture, supporting recruitment processes, and providing day-to-day HR support. This role requires a proactive individual with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

HR Generalist Duties:

• Administer day-to-day HR activities, including handling HR documentation and ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new starters and departures.
• Manage invoice processing and total rewards administration.

Office Culture and Engagement:

• Develop and implement programs that foster a positive office culture and enhance engagement.
• Organize team-building activities, events, and wellness programs to promote a healthy work environment.
• Act as a point of contact, addressing concerns, and facilitating open communication.

HR Relations:

• Serve as a trusted advisor to management on HR-related matters, providing guidance and support.
• Address and resolve conflicts and issues, ensuring a fair and consistent approach in line with company policies.
• Conduct satisfaction surveys and work on initiatives to improve overall experience.

Recruitment Support:

• Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial interviews.
• Coordinate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide support throughout the recruitment process.

General Support:

• Provide day-to-day support to contractors on HR-related inquiries, benefits, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with work-life balance, wellness, and personal development initiatives.

HR Projects and Initiatives:

• Participate in the development and implementation of HR projects, such as policy updates, training programs, and employee development initiatives.
• Support the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR generalist or related role, within Croatia.
• Strong knowledge of Croatian labor laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Proficiency in HR software and Google Suite.
• Fluency in Croatian and English, both written and spoken.

Base Salary

• The base salary range for this position is $45,000-$55,000 USD/year.
• Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting is based on Noom’s estimate as of the date of publication and reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position across all locations. The actual placement of the candidate within the range is based on factors including but not limited to relevant experience, assessment of functional skills and behavioral competencies, scope, and location. This range is not inclusive of any discretionary bonus or equity package.

Other Elements of the Rewards Package

• Noom currently offers a comprehensive and generous total rewards package. This package generally includes discretionary performance-based bonus, stock awards, paid holidays, paid time off, etc.
