Noom is on a mission to help people live better, longer. We’re a consumer-led digital health company, connecting people to content, coaching, community, and clinicians, to build lasting habits and live healthier lives. We’re a high-growth organization powered by science, technology, and world-class talent. When you join Noom, on any team, you’ll see the impact of your work on the world.

Our Communications Team

The Communications team at Noom plays a vital role in shaping how we tell our story to the world. From media relations and brand storytelling to executive communications and thought leadership to events, this team drives awareness, credibility, and engagement across key audiences. We partner closely with teams across the organization to ensure our messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with Noom’s mission to improve health outcomes at scale.

About The Role

We’re seeking a Communications Manager of Executive Visibility and Events, who can both run an excellent event and explain why that event matters to Noom. You will help choose the conferences, stages, partnerships, and owned programs that reach our priority audiences and advance our business and communications goals. Then you will turn those opportunities into strong executive appearances, media stories, useful content, and relationships that continue after the event ends – from the owned stages we build ourselves to the industry conferences where our executives show up as speakers, sponsors, and thought leaders. This is a hands-on role at the center of our executive visibility and events strategy. You’ll manage our speaker bench, decide which stages are worth Noom’s time and what role our executives should play on them, and then build everything that gets them there ready to make an impact – pitches, talk tracks, presentations, and briefing materials, from concept through delivery. You’ll also own the planning and execution of Noom’s signature owned events, including Noom Talks and the annual Art of Wellbeing Summit, from concept through post-event follow-up.

You’ll work closely with the rest of the Communications team, as well as partners across Marketing and our leadership team, to make sure every event reflects Noom’s brand and mission.

You Will

  • Build an events and executive visibility plan tied to defined audiences and goals, such as credibility in metabolic health, awareness of Noom’s expertise, partner relationships, and relevant business opportunities. Recommend where Noom should participate, what role we should play, and where to pass
  • Identify, pitch and secure the right speaking and thought leadership opportunities for Noom’s executives. Evaluate the audience, editorial fit, cost, reach, and potential for broader communications impact across earned and sponsored opportunities
  • Develop a full communications plan around each priority event or speaking appearance: the core point of view, executive briefing and presentation, media and organizer outreach, owned and social content, on-site capture, and timely follow-up
  • Partner with executives and experts to shape clear, credible messages at events, including briefing materials, talk tracks, and presentations suited to the audience and Noom’s priorities.
  • Manage multiple events and workstreams simultaneously, keeping stakeholders aligned on budgets, timelines, and key decisions
  • Connect events and speaking engagements to broader communications and marketing efforts – media outreach, executive content, social storytelling, and post-event follow up
  • Own end-to-end planning and execution of Noom’s signature owned events, including Noom Talks (held every other month at our Princeton HQ) and the Art of Wellbeing Summit (held each January at the Princeton University Art Museum) — venue logistics, run of show, vendor and budget management, guest lists, on-site execution, and post-event recaps
  • Evaluate and manage sponsored event opportunities, including negotiating sponsorship packages and coordinating booths, activations, and on-site branding with Marketing and Design
  • Represent Communications on-site at events — owned, earned, and sponsored — to ensure flawless execution and troubleshoot in real time
  • Own the team’s event budget and vendor contracts, tracking spend and negotiating rates
  • Maintain a master events calendar and opportunity pipeline across owned, earned, and sponsored events, keeping the team and executives aligned on commitments and deadlines
  • Build and strengthen relationships with conference producers, industry associations, and speaker bureaus in the health, wellness, and longevity space
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Executive Ops to align event strategy with broader business goals

About You

If you love the adrenaline of a live event as much as the strategy behind it — and you’re just as comfortable building a run-of-show as you are coaching an executive through a pitch — this role may be for you. You thrive under deadline pressure, sweat the details, and know how to turn a room, or a stage, into a moment that builds Noom’s brand.

You Have

  • 5+ years of experience in communications, PR, executive communications, events or marketing, with hands-on ownership of live event planning and execution
  • Event planning and production experience is a must — you’ve run events from budget and vendor management through on-site execution
  • Experience working directly with senior executives — briefing, coaching, and staffing them for public appearances — is highly preferred
  • Evidence that you have used events or speaking opportunities to advance a broader communications, marketing, or business objective, and can explain the choices and results
  • Proven ability to manage multiple events and timelines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong relationship-building skills with event organizers, conference producers, vendors, and agencies
  • Comfort managing budgets and negotiating vendor and sponsorship contracts
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to draft briefing docs, talking points, and pitches
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site at events, including some evenings and weekends around event dates
  • Experience in health, wellness, or health-adjacent industries is a plus

What Makes This Job Amazing

  • You’ll own some of Noom’s most visible moments — from our own stages to the industry’s biggest ones — and shape how the world experiences our brand in person
  • You’ll work directly with Noom’s executive team, building the skills and relationships that come from prepping and staffing leaders at high-stakes moments
  • You’ll have real ownership over a growing function, with the opportunity to build the playbook for how Noom shows up at events
  • You'll help position Noom as a credible voice in health, wellness, and longevity, turning stages and speaking opportunities into lasting impact for the brand

What You’ll Earn and Enjoy

  • Pay that reflects your impact. Compensation benchmarked to the market and shaped by your impact and value.
  • Investment in your future. A 401(k) with company match to help you build long-term financial security.
  • Time to truly recharge. Paid holidays, generous time off, Summer Fridays, and a company-wide Summer Break week so the whole team can unplug together.
  • Care that covers it all. Access to top-tier medical plans for you and your family, including a premium-free plan option, alongside dental, vision, and life insurance.
  • Support for growing families. Paid parental leave to give you the time and flexibility to focus on what matters most.
  • And more to help you thrive. Stock awards, a performance-based bonus, and exclusive access to Noom’s products, so you can grow with us, win with us, and enjoy what we build.

The base salary range for this position is $105,000 to $138,000. Actual compensation is determined by job-related factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

This role is eligible for our NYC or Princeton, NJ office locations, operating on a hybrid schedule (2 days per week on-site).
