The Role
Oshi Health is seeking a Director of Product Management – Growth & Patient Experience to lead our patient acquisition journey and elevate the Oshi patient experience. This critical role will drive the strategy and execution of initiatives that improve patient onboarding, enhance engagement, and deliver exceptional care, directly impacting the success of Oshi’s mission to transform GI care.
As a key member of the product leadership team, you will collaborate with marketing, clinical operations, and engineering teams to optimize sign-up funnels, enhance engagement, and streamline care delivery. Reporting to the Head of Product, this is an exciting opportunity to lead high-impact initiatives and be at the forefront of transforming GI care.
What you’ll do:
- Patient Acquisition and Onboarding - Lead the design and optimization of the patient sign-up funnel and activation process, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for patients joining Oshi Health. Identify barriers to sign-up and implement data-driven solutions to streamline onboarding and accelerate engagement.
- Patient-Centric Approach - Develop and execute a roadmap that integrates Oshi’s clinical expertise with tailored content to deliver personalized, high-quality GI care. Leverage evidence-based clinical interventions and curated educational resources to address individual patient needs and empower them to take an active role in their care
- Patient Insights and Feedback - Incorporate patient feedback and behavioral insights to continuously refine and personalize the care journey through the Oshi Mobile App and Web Portal Experience
- Data-Driven Innovation - Use analytics and experimentation (e.g., A/B testing, multivariate testing) to identify growth opportunities and iterate on product improvements. Define and track KPIs to measure success, ensuring continuous improvements in both growth metrics and patient satisfaction
- Collaborative Leadership - Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, QA, analytics) to deliver high-quality features efficiently. Act as a champion for patient-centric innovation, driving alignment and communication across the organization
- Patient Experience Expertise - Serve as the internal advocate for patients, translating feedback into actionable insights. Communicate product strategies and updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment on priorities
- Technical Proficiency - Leverage product analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Segment, Fullstory) to track and optimize user journeys, driving actionable insights
- Prioritization Pro - You have the ability to effectively prioritize growth initiatives, balancing short-term gains with long-term product goals, and turning insights into actionable results
Who you are:
- You are organized and love the agile development philosophy to execute with engineering and enjoy finding technical solutions to improve business processes
- You understand data flow and data structure and are competent at collecting, interpreting, and creating actionable insights from datasets
- You relate your work to the key deliverables to drive the business OKRs
- You’re ready to roll up your sleeves and serve the mission and goals wherever there is a need
- You anticipate and account for impact to all teams for any Product/Engineering releases and liaise between teams to communicate impact, prepare for changes, and drive solutioning
What you'll bring to the team:
- 5+ years in Product Management, preferably in healthcare, Telehealth, or startups
- Proven track record of leading growth-focused initiatives, including acquisition and patient experience
- Experience with Telehealth, preferably across state-lines or at healthcare startup
- Leverages data, feedback and research (such as A/B testing, surveys or interviews) to inform and guide future product/feature development
- Thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, comfortable with ambiguity and confident in making decisions with a passion for challenging the status quo in healthcare
- Experience working at a startup using an agile development methodology
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent (preferred)
Skills & Mindset:
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools like Mixpanel, Optimizely, Segment, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with growth experimentation and data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams.
- Passion for improving healthcare, with a user-centric approach to product design and development.
Experience that would be a plus:
- Experience working with Athena’s EMR platform
- Experience working with Salesforce Health Cloud
