About the Role

Pagaya is looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to join our IT team. This individual will be responsible for the daily administration, maintenance, and support of our endpoint devices and systems infrastructure. This includes managing our OKTA Identity provider, Google Workspace, macOS and Microsoft environments, as well as security activities such as vulnerability and patch management. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, and a commitment to ensuring a positive end-user experience and operational efficiency. The Systems Administrator will provide technical expertise in managing our technology stack, ensuring optimal performance and availability of critical systems for Pagaya operations.

Responsibilities

  • Advanced System and Network Administration- Expert-level support, infrastructure optimization using Fortinet hardware, Aruba ClearPass administration, and AWS Route 53/DNS maintenance with SPF, DKIM, DMARC records.
  • Identity, Access, and Compliance Management- Manage Okta SSO/Lifecycle Policies (SCIM, MFA, FastPass), ensure IAM/device access compliance with SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ITSM, and partner with Security/GRC teams.
  • Enterprise Endpoint and Device Management- Administer Jamf Pro (macOS) and Microsoft Intune (Windows), ensuring device encryption, compliance tagging, software deployment, and Zero Touch onboarding.
  • Cloud and CloudOps Infrastructure Support- Provide escalated support for AWS/Azure services (DNS, EC2, IAM, Azure VDI) and guide teams on cloud-first development aligned with IT security standards.
  • Artificial Intelligence Leadership- Direct AI initiatives to adopt new AI toolsets and technologies.
  • Rigorous Ticket and Task Execution- Document system modifications in ITSM (Jira), execute tasks with detail, and participate in CAB reviews.

Requirements

  • 4+ years as a Systems Administrator/ Infrastructure Analyst.
  • Expertise with Fortinet, Aruba ClearPass, Okta SSO/MFA/SCIM, AWS Route 53/DNS/domain configuration, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, Jamf Pro/Microsoft Intune, Azure, Google Workspace.
  • Understanding of SOC 2, ISO 27001, ITSM/ITIL, ticketing systems, documentation, and advanced cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/SaaS).
