Business Analyst

Our Corporate IT team is hiring a Business Analyst to support our PMO leader and team, delivering timely projects to our internal business users.

THIS IS A FULLY REMOTE OPPORTUNITY, but job seekers must currently reside in Serbia. This role might include 10% travel (EU and US).

About You:

• You are an experienced IT Professional who has touched a wide variety of Systems or Applications in an Enterprise IT environment; and have taken projects through the full life cycle of delivery
• You have strong Business Analyst or Project Management skills, including process mapping and workflow mapping skills
• You enjoy working on a wide variety of projects concurrently, with a utility player mindset, and excellent time management skills

About The Role:

The Information Technology (IT) Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for providing support to the IT team for various activities related to administrative tasks and actions associated with day-to-day IT operations.

This position will require engagement with various stakeholders on multiple projects to manage identified workstreams and assist with proper communication between internal project team members and external contacts.

• Perform and coordinate project-based analysis for IT invoice management to support transactional analysis related to IT spend. Handle any AP questions by facilitating discussions with respective IT department leader.
• Review Invoice processing results with IT Leadership on a monthly/quarterly basis to highlight performance and coordinate on forecasts vs actuals.
• Create recurring or ad-hoc reports and models for the purpose of allowing management to make data driven decisions.
• Access IT system to collate and update IT related Dashboards and monthly/quarterly business updates.
• Create user guides for internally developed web based applications
• Produce testing documentation for internally developed web based applications when requested with support from the development team
• Update consolidated workstream/program status presentation with key messages and Green Yellow Red ratings for timeline and overall status while getting approval from Program leaders.
• Support the internal IT Team with various administrative functions associated with day-to-day operations
• Support Data Quality and Governance initiatives
• Brainstorms with team members to resolve more complex issues and escalates difficult issues to IT leaders
• Performs daily checks of internal systems to verify availability
• Participates in creation and maintenance of IT standards and procedures
• Tests new software, document procedures, and test upgrades
• Conduct and attend site visits to other local sites
• Infrequent travel to other non-local sites may be required

Required Experience:

• Bachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science or an equivalent combination of education & experience.
• 3 years or more of experience related to supporting IT related initiatives.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Application (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Ability to read and interpret Standard Operating Procedures and apply the principals of the documents to day-to-day activities
• Ability to create workflow diagrams for defined business tasks/processes
• Knowledge of SharePoint or other portal products is a plus
