Who we are:
The internal Business Development team nurtures new business relationships and helps to strategize/solve requests that come from client prospects. They continuously look to market our agency brand to build awareness, show differentiation, and stay top-of-mind in the market. They put their problem-solving skills to use in the answering of capabilities requests, RFIs, RFPs, and pitches. This is a fierce, passionate, and high-profile team with outstanding organizational skills and the drive to juggle many new projects and ideas at once.

Who you are: Support all new business opportunities internally from inquiry and introduction, qualification/assessment, courtship, selling support, pitch response, and transition to inline:

  • Develop and manage content for capabilities presentations, RFIs, RFPs, and pitches for new business prospects
  • Assist in business development resource creation, organization, and dissemination to the larger agency teams (i.e. case studies, agency leave behinds, RFI written responses, topic-specific slide decks)
  • Provide input on innovative and fresh ways to reach and obtain new clients as well as optimize internal processes to reach maximum efficiency and productivity

Job Functions

Qualifying & Organizing New Business Initiatives:

  • Keep a steady pulse on all new business initiatives and opportunities across Precision Value & Health
  • Ensure opportunities are qualified, information is transferred to participating teams, and opportunities are tracked from a status, resource, and Salesforce perspective

Content Development:

  • Curate comprehensive information about Precision’s business lines and structure in order to effectively communicate our capabilities to potential clients
  • Research market trends and gather insights that are applicable to each new business opportunity
  • Review product profiles (in partnership with strategic services/leadership) for information critical to each opportunity
  • Develop and manage content for capabilities presentations, RFIs, RFPs, and pitches for new business prospects
  • Lead the development of capabilities presentations for prospects - assemble agency introductory slides, experience slides, case studies, working together slides, etc.
  • Lead organizing roles/responsibilities, deadlines, templates, and processes for RFI/RFP completion – drive the process forward, ensuring all contributing parties stay on task and ask
  • Speculatively write or create slides/responses for a tailored product
  • Own the deliverable and hold all participating parties responsible for timely delivery of content and edits
  • Assist with the development of strategic frameworks and aligning tactical recommendations
  • Manage the RFI/RFP content from kick-off to submission; ensure editorial, creative, and quality checks throughout
  • Continually think through ways that we can improve our communications and capabilities discussions

Resource Organization:

  • Proactively initiate and drive the organization of an agency repository and create processes for ongoing updates
  • Make case studies, RFIs, RFPs, agency resources, and other best examples and practices available to teams across all offices to ensure learnings and experiences are leveraged in a productive manner
  • Continue agency education including process understanding, project triage and resourcing, case studies, and begin moving towards more direct client exposure
  • Provide input on innovative and fresh ways optimize internal processes to reach maximum efficiency and productivity – for the business development department but also for the agency as a whole
  • Drive the organization around resource creation, organization, and dissemination to the larger agency teams (i.e. case studies, agency leave behinds, RFI written responses, topic-specific slide decks)

Pitch Process Organization & Management:

  • Lead the agency team on pitch-related activities and processes
  • Develop the "pitch on a page" and hold teams accountable to deadlines and next steps
  • Ensure top notch, innovative thinking is delivered across the board from all teams - continuously check in and provide ad hoc support when needs arise
  • Work with teams to resolve internal and external challenges that may affect a project outcome
  • Always think through the "pitch experience" and ways we can differentiate our offering and stand apart from competitive agencies
  • Own the pitch deck and other BDEV-driven support materials from start to finish
  • Lead the charge on understanding and adopting Workfront when it makes its way to business development and share recommendations for best use with the rest of the department

Precision Partnership:

  • Work as a liaison between the larger Precision Value & Health and agency new business teams to connect subject matter experts and exchange knowledge and resources
  • Connect with other Precision business development experts to stay up to-date on network-wide relationships, ongoing efforts, and future opportunities
  • Assist in the development and organization of Precision Value and Health resources


Education: Bachelor’s degree

Work Experience: 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, content writing, or account-facing role at an advertising agency

Required Skills:

  • PowerPoint design proficiency
  • Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred Skills:

  • Healthcare and/or agency experience
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Demonstrated management skills is a growth opportunity

Precision is required by law in some states or cities to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.
