Modern biomarker-informed therapeutic and diagnostic development programs involve a complex operational and data ecosystem. Multiple data streams flow from sites, central labs, and specialty labs.

Purpose of Job: The Tableau Developer brings advanced analysis, modeling, and performance measurement on projects across the organization. Clear on the purpose of data, how to capture, manipulate, interpret, and apply it, demonstrate the value and impact of this sophisticated science to inform client behaviors and activities. Must have the ability to describe, predict and improve business performance. The Senior Analyst would bridge data and strategy to tell a straightforward and compelling business story.
Job Components / Major Responsibilities:
- Developing complex data analysis, methodologies, and predictive data models for assessing clinical trial outcomes.
- Coordinate data collection with external partners and internally manage datasets.
- Proficiently use statistical programming software such as Python, R, or SAS to create statistical, regression, and econometric models.
- Handling and mining large, diverse data sets with an ability to work with both structured and unstructured data.
- Build compelling, interactive dashboards in Tableau for internal and external client deployment by consultants/managers.
- Develop rich, interactive, visually striking graphics and data visualizations of "large" amounts of data that facilitate the presentation of data.
- Required to work on a wide portfolio of visualization projects, supporting multiple business partners.
- Design, build, and maintain extract-transformation-load (ETL) processes.
- Writing SQL Jobs, SSIS packages, reporting services, ETL, deploying SQL patches, and Data Migration Activity.
- Design, create, modify, and remove database objects (tables, views, indexes, keys, stored procedures, functions, DB links, etc.) to support development project
- Writing efficient stored procedures for other developers working on the Business Access Layer / Service Layer using T-SQL / PL-SQL scripts. Delegating tasks to Associate Analysts to realize the successful completion of projects
Qualifications:
- 5-8 Years of Product Development experience with data visualizations in Tableau Desktop & SQL Server
- Ability to lead multiple complex and/or international projects with teams of statisticians.
- Previous technical development experience or demonstrated leadership ability.
- Good clinical datasets/metadata understanding.
- Nice to have PowerBI tool experience.
