Requirements
The Role:
The Finance department is a cornerstone of Kaltura, driving the company’s profitability and growth while ensuring stability and transparency for key stakeholders (BoD, Management, and Budget owners). Our team drives Kaltura’s forecast, budget and expense controlling. We partner with leaders across the company to deliver actionable business insights that support their growth and evolving needs.
The Day-to-Day:
- Prepare the annual company budget, focusing on HC & Payroll and their impact on financial statements (P&L, CF, and BS).
- Create accurate monthly forecasts for headcount and payroll expenses.
- Analyze headcount trends, recruitment costs, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with HR to align workforce planning.
- Compare actual results to budgets and forecasts, identifying HC and payroll-related deviations and recommending corrective actions.
- Track payroll expenses, including salaries, benefits, bonuses, and other compensations, while maintaining accuracy in forecasts and analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations for senior management and stakeholders, offering clear insights into HC and payroll trends, and metrics.
Ideally, We’re Looking For:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Economics (Finance or related fields).
- At least 2 years of experience in an FP&A role, preferably within a Hi-Tech company.
- Proven expertise in managing and analyzing HC & Payroll expenses.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.A
- Analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to present complex data clearly and concisely.
- A proactive, self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
These Would Also Be Nice:
- Methodological and precise, with the ability to drill down to details as well as see the big picture
- Familiarity with accounting standards, particularly those relevant to payroll (e.g., accruals, capitalization of expenses).
- Experience thriving in a matrix work environment, effectively collaborating across finance and HR teams.
