The Director, HR carries end-to-end responsibility for building and sustaining a high-performing HR function in a matrixed GCC environment. The HR Director must be equally capable of operating at a strategic level with local leadership and at a hands-on level with compliance, payroll coordination, and day-to-day employee needs.

This role reports to the VP, People & Culture in the US and operates as an extension of the global People & Culture team, contributing to enterprise-wide initiatives while leading locally with judgment and autonomy.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Strategic HR Leadership & Partnership

• Serve as the senior HR leader for Reveleer’s India GCC, owning the full people function and acting as the primary advisor to India-based leaders and employees.

• Partner with the VP, People & Culture to align India HR strategy with global priorities, adapting programs and policies to local needs and cultural context.

• Represent the India population in global HR planning and enterprise-wide people initiatives.

• Surface workforce trends and employee insights, connecting them to business outcomes and bringing forward recommendations.

Talent Acquisition

• Provide leadership and strategic direction to the India TA function, ensuring alignment with Reveleer’s global hiring standards and workforce planning priorities.

• Partner with the US People & Culture team on hiring practices, offer governance, and cross-functional roles.

• Report on TA health and hiring trends to the VP, escalating capacity or quality issues as needed.

HR Operations & Compliance

• Oversee HR operations and compliance for the India GCC, ensuring the function meets all Indian labor law and statutory requirements (PF, Gratuity, and other applicable regulations).

• Ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly across employee documentation, onboarding, payroll coordination, and benefits administration.

• Maintain vendor and legal advisor relationships to support ongoing compliance, and own accountability for HR record integrity and audit readiness.

Employee Relations

• Serve as the primary point of contact for India-based employees, fostering trust and timely resolution of concerns.

• Own ER matters from intake through resolution, maintaining documentation in accordance with Reveleer standards and local legal requirements.

• Escalate matters involving legal risk or significant organizational impact to the VP, with a recommended path forward.

• Coach India-based managers on team dynamics, performance conversations, and employee development.

Talent Programs & Manager Development

• Own program management of core talent cycles for the India population, including performance reviews, goal-setting, and manager effectiveness programs.

• Ensure India employees and managers are integrated into enterprise talent programs, with adaptations for local context and time zone.

• Build manager capability over time and identify local L&D needs in partnership with the VP and L&D team.

Culture, Engagement & DEI

• Lead efforts to build a cohesive, inclusive culture within the India GCC that reflects Reveleer’s values.

• Design and execute local engagement initiatives with sensitivity to cultural nuances and employee needs.

• Champion DEI efforts and serve as a visible, accessible culture leader within the GCC.

HR Data & Reporting

• Use data to inform HR strategy and identify trends across workforce metrics, retention, engagement, and hiring.

• Provide regular updates to the VP on India HR performance, active ER matters, and key workforce trends.

ABOUT YOU:

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 6+ years in a senior HRBP, HR manager, or HR lead role

• Demonstrated experience owning the HR function for a GCC or multi-function India office

• Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, statutory requirements, and HR compliance best practices

• Experience leading or overseeing a TA function, including managing recruiters and ensuring hiring quality for technical and operations roles

• Ability to operate independently in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment and drive work to completion

• Strong ER experience, including investigations and managing sensitive situations through to resolution

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across geographies and levels

• Experience with HRIS systems and leveraging data for reporting and decision-making

Preferred

• Experience in a high-growth technology, healthcare technology, or data and analytics company

• Experience supporting compensation or total rewards programs in the India context
