We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our Software Engineering team. You’ll work alongside collaborative partners and dedicated achievers in the field to help support our mission.
As a Software Engineer at Truepill, you will play a vital role in leveraging engineering, life sciences, and computer science expertise to solve complex problems, innovate, and deliver high-quality products and services through information systems and data management. You will play an integral role in the engineering function, contributing to the creation, development, and enhancement of products, services, and standards to achieve business objectives.

- You will develop software solutions, including design, coding, testing, and deployment, to meet business obligations and regulatory requirements.

- You will participate in the improvement of engineering processes, standards, and procedures.
- You will provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders and teams.
- You will monitor and evaluate the performance of software systems, identifying areas for optimization and enhancement.
- You will contribute to the documentation and knowledge sharing within the organization.
- You have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- You have proven experience in software development, preferably in the healthcare or medical technology industry.
- You’re skilled in programming and fluent in at least one language developers love, with bonus points for JavaScript, Java and Python—our go-to tools.
- You have a strong understanding of software design principles and patterns.
- You are experienced with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- You have a strong understanding of software design principles, data management, and communication platforms.
- You have the ability to apply engineering principles to problem-solving and innovation.
- You are familiar with regulatory requirements and standards in the healthcare sector (e.g., HIPAA, FDA regulations).
- You have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- You work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- You have demonstrated the ability to adapt to evolving technologies and project requirements.
