We’re excited to announce an exceptional physician leadership opportunity in Urbana, Illinois. In partnership with Sacred Heart, we are opening a brand-new 40‑bed inpatient behavioral health unit, and we’re seeking a Psychiatrist to serve as the clinical leader for this program.

This is a unique chance to help shape a new unit from the ground up, establishing clinical standards, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and making a lasting impact on patient care in the community.

About the Role

As the Lead Psychiatrist, you will:

• Provide high-quality psychiatric care for adult inpatients
• Serve as the primary clinical leader for a new 40‑bed unit
• Collaborate closely with nursing, therapy, and administrative leadership
• Participate in program growth and quality initiatives

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry
• Active (or ability to obtain) Illinois medical license
• Interest in inpatient psychiatry and program development
• Leadership experience preferred but not required
