Us Heart and Vascular and Cardiology Center of Houston (CCOH) in Katy, TX has an amazing opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner, to work with an Interventional Cardiologist in a high-volume private practice. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with the Interventionalist as well as independently.

Candidates must have:

• Two years of experience working as experienced out-patient Cardiology Nurse Practitioner is preferred. Majority of the time will be outpatient; therefore, we are looking for candidates with strong outpatient experience.
• Master’s degree in nursing; graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active TX license or willing to apply.
• Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)

Skills:

• General health care and cardiovascular patient assessment and exam skills
• Ability to function independently.
• Demonstrate knowledge and competence in basic cardiovascular technology, i.e. EKG, patient assessment and management of care, labs/hospital test results
