Duties and Responsibilities <ul> <li>Explains procedure to patients to assure cooperation and optimum test results</li> <li>Prepares stock solutions of radiopharmaceutical materials, calculate doses, and administers doses, under direction of Physician</li> <li>Performs diagnostic exams including Cardiac PET studies on patients as prescribed by physician, including treadmill supervision and starting IVs.</li> <li>Measures radioactivity using Geiger counters, scalers and scintillation detectors</li> <li>Follows radiation safety techniques in use and disposal of radioactive materials</li> <li>Maintains quality control of all equipment</li> <li>Safeguard the privacy of patient health information</li> <li>Attends required meetings</li> <li>Performs related work as required</li> </ul> Knowledge, Skills and Abilities <ul> <li>Must have excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills</li> <li>Must be experienced and work independently in a very busy private cardiology practice setting</li> </ul> Requirements <ul> <li>Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology</li> <li>Must be registered with ARRT or NMTCB</li> <li>2 years of experience</li> <li>BLS/CPR Certification</li> </ul> Employment type <ul> <li>Full-time</li> </ul>
