We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Microsoft Azure & Office 365 Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. This individual will play a critical role in building and maintaining the infrastructure necessary for our organization to scale. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience and be a self-starter capable of thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure to support the organization’s growth and scalability.
  • Administer and optimize Office 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
  • Collaborate with IT and clinical teams to integrate new practices and systems efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain scripts for automating Azure and Office 365 tasks.
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance availability and reliability.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to IT staff.
  • Ensure security best practices are implemented and maintained across all cloud services.
  • Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies.
  • Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Azure and Office 365 environments.
  • Serves as an internal consultant, providing top level guidance on the most complex technical projects/initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, including physicians, vendors, hospital partners, and the executive team.
  • Communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, ensuring clear articulation of ideas and strategies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
  • Strong understanding of Azure architecture and services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Knowledge of network fundamentals, security practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, Office 365 Administrator) are highly desirable.
  • A strong healthcare background is desirable.
