US Heart and Vascular is in need of a temporary CT Tech Assistant to join our team at Pima Heart and Vascular in Tucson, AZ.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Prepare patients for CT exam
• Interview patient prior to CT exam and provide accurate documentation for technologist
• Provide patient education for scheduled exams
• Assist technologists with getting patients on and off the exam table
• Assist with changing exam table for each CT exam
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness of exam room
• Assist with stocking of CT exam room
• Assist with entering patient information into computer.
• Ensure that all reports and chart forms are scanned or filed into patient records.
• Maintains safety, environmental and infection control policies and procedures for department. ·
• Follows and enforces Pima Heart & Vascular policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Current in BLS/CPR certification or should be obtained within initial 4 months of hire.
• Demonstrated strong computer knowledge.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Responds in positive manner to constructive criticism.
• Demonstrates tact and understanding when dealing with patients and team members.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of patients’ needs.
