US Heart and Vascular (USHV) is seeking a full time Operations Manager - Remote Monitoring Services (RMS) for the Dallas, TX area.
This critical role supports our centralized Remote Monitoring Services and provides ongoing leadership for the development and implementation and management of remote patient care services supporting remote cardiac monitoring, remote patient monitoring, and cardiac implantable device monitoring for the USHV platform.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Under the direction and guidance of the VP of Value Based Care Operations:
- Work closely with the physicians, advanced practice providers, device technologists, and medical assistants at all USHV practices and with vendor/manufacturer representatives to coordinate and provide excellent care for cardiac and remote monitoring device patients
- Assigns and manages daily work of RMS staff members, including schedules, performance management, and service standards
- Accountable for coaching and performance management processes to develop and retain staff for optimal performance and productivity
- Assists in developing protocols and polices for appropriate documentation and workflows for RMS services
- Accountable for implementing and managing appropriate device recalls/advisories, quality and safety controls, and evidence-based practices
- Maintain and optimize vendor/manufacturer relationships, inclusive of tracking device inventory, optimizing device performance, and troubleshooting supply and technical opportunities
- Accountable for departmental budget and key performance indicators (KPI) operational optimization and achievement
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams
- Must be able to function independently within the limits of the position
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with an interdisciplinary team environment
- Ability to analyze processes and implement improvements to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency
- Excellent mentoring and coaching skills with ability to provide transparent and timely feedback to drive individual and team performance
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business and/or health-related field
- 2 years of experience in patient support, remote monitoring, or a related role in the healthcare or medical device industry
- 1-2 years of experience in a clinical cardiology practice
- Experience in analyzing implantable devices, wearable cardiac devices (Holter, event recorder, MCT, etc.), and remote physiological monitoring (BP cuffs, scales, pulse oximetry, etc.)
- CCDS, CEPS, CDRMS, CCT, and/or CRAT preferred
