US Heart and Vascular is in need of a full-time vascular sonographer to join our team at Birmingham Heart Clinic in Birmingham, AL.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform Vascular ultrasound exams, including reflux studies and vein ablations
• Explain medical procedures to patients and answer any questions they may have
• Follow safety procedures to protect the patients and themselves from unnecessary radiation exposure
• Assist in maintaining a clean and professional clinical environment
• Perform any other services deemed reasonable by physician or supervisor.

Requirements, Skills, and Abilities

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology
• Vascular experience preferred but not required
• Registration in Vascular Technology (RVT or RVS) is required
• BLS/CPR certification
