US Heart and Vascular has an excellent full time employment opportunity, with benefits, for an experienced Cardiovascular Sonographer at our Plano West clinic located in Plano TX. A minimum of three years of working experience as a registered Cardiovascular Sonographer is required.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

· Performs 2-D Echo and Doppler studies.

· Performs Stress Echo studies.

· Responsible for performing a variety of noninvasive vascular evaluations

· Explains procedures to patients and obtains informed consent from patient.

· Obtains insurance precertification for testing as necessary.

· Performs test result abstracting to EMR as necessary.

· Duties, responsibilities and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.

· May be required to move between locations as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· At least 3 years of practical experience.

· Currently registered as a Cardiac Sonographer through ARDMS or CCI.

· Currently registered as a Vascular Sonographer or vascular registry eligible and completed by deadline set by the Company.

· Current CPR certification.
