US Heart and Vascular is in need of an Information Technology Manager to join our team in Dallas, TX.
Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to lead our helpdesk support team in a Healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10+ years of information technology experience with 3-5 years of experience managing an engineering or support team, a college degree, and relevant industry certifications. This role requires a personable, proactive leader who can ensure the smooth operation of our IT services, provide exceptional support to our medical staff and physicians, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our healthcare mission.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and mentor a team of helpdesk support technicians, ensuring high levels of performance, motivation, and professional development.
• Oversee the daily operations of the helpdesk, providing technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Apply knowledge of IT systems and support in a medical environment, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Lead IT projects related to system upgrades, new implementations, and process improvements, ensuring timely and successful completion.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service, addressing and resolving IT-related issues promptly and effectively.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT processes, procedures, and support activities.
• Work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide solutions that enhance their operations.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure the best possible service and support.
• May require after-hours work, weekend work, and over-time.
Requirements:
• 5-10+ years of information technology experience with 3-5 years of direct experience managing an engineering or support team, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Industry certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft Certifications, VmWare, Fortinet, Cisco or similar are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and support tools. Experience supporting electronic health records (EHR) and PACs systems is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering effective and efficient solutions.
• Must have a Valid Texas Driver’s License. Reimbursed travel to remote clinics required.
