US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Medical Assistant to join our team at Birmingham Heart Clinic in Birmingham, AL.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high quality patient care.
• Must be self-motivated with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to perform a variety of duties.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers in a manner which creates a sense of teamwork but also be able to work independently.
• Comply with the rights and responsibilities of patient confidentiality.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in Cardiology Preferred
• Experience with EKGs
• 2 to 3 Years Medical Assistant Experience Required
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
• Ability to travel to Pell City, Gardendale, Oneonta locations if needed
