US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Back Office Coordinator to join our Fort Worth Heart team in Fort Worth, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train, and support clinical staff, including medical assistants and nurses, to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
  • Coordinate patient care activities, including rooming patients, obtaining vitals, preparing for procedures, and conducting follow-up calls.
  • Utilize Athena EMR to manage patient records, track clinical tasks, and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Monitor compliance with clinical protocols, OSHA regulations, and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Develop and implement procedures to enhance office workflow, reduce patient wait times, and improve overall patient experience.
  • Oversee medical supply inventory, including ordering, stocking, and quality control.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Address patient concerns, support physician communication, and ensure high levels of patient satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Medical Assistant or Nursing certification (CMA, RMA, LPN, or RN) strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a medical setting, ideally in cardiology is required.
  • Proficiency in eCW EMR required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
