<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div> <div><div> <p id="isPasted"><span>US Heart and Vascular is in need of a full-time Medical Front Office Specialist to join our team at Birmingham Heart Clinic in Birmingham, AL.</span></p> <p><span><br></span></p> <p><span><strong> </strong><strong><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Check-in patients or greet customers in a friendly, professional manner. </li> <li>Obtain complete registration from the patient</li> <li>Prepare the encounter, verifying insurance referral and/or prior authorizations are valid and print the medication lists. </li> <li>Enter electronic messages to other departments to assist with patient flow and document patient wait times. </li> <li>Assist the Billing Department with collecting co-pays and patient balances. </li> <li>Provide the billing department with a clear copy of insurance cards and current demographic information. </li> <li>Performs other related duties as assigned</li> </ul> <p><span><strong>Requirements: </strong></span></p> </div></div> <ul> <li id="isPasted">Knowledge of patient scheduling techniques/insurance &amp; billing preferred but not required</li> <li>High school diploma or GED</li> </ul> <p><span><strong>About Birmingham, AL.:</strong></span></p> <p><span>Birmingham blends history, culture, and a growing job market.
