Description

US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Remote Compliance Support Specialist to join our team.

Position Summary

The Compliance Program Administrator plays a critical role in advancing the organization’s compliance program by implementing and optimizing technology solutions that automate workflows, reduce manual tasks, and create scalable processes. This position uses compliance management systems, data analytics tools, and digital platforms to support regulatory monitoring, documentation, audits, and training initiatives while ensuring adherence to federal and state healthcare regulations, including CMS guidelines and other applicable laws. The role fosters a culture of compliance through technology-driven operational efficiency across the organization.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Data Analytics & Compliance Metrics
    Design and execute data-driven dashboards and reports to analyze key compliance metrics, including billing and coding trends, using advanced analytics tools.
  • Conflicts of Interest Program Management. Configure and maintain the conflicts-of-interest database to automate disclosure tracking and streamline the annual attestation process.
  • Vendor & BAA Compliance Coordination
    Implement and manage a vendor compliance platform to automate onboarding workflows and integrate with Legal and Procurement systems. Oversee the digital tracking of Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) for real-time visibility and compliance assurance.
  • Risk Assessment Process. Design and implement the Compliance Department's risk assessment.
  • Policy Library. Build and maintain a centralized, version-controlled policy database to ensure easy access, automated updates, and accurate distribution of current policies across the organization.
  • Audit & Incident Tracking
    Maintain centralized audit and incident tracking systems to log findings, corrective actions, and escalations with automated alerts for timely resolution.
  • Compliance Monitoring & Reporting
    Develop and manage interactive dashboards for compliance KPIs. Implement version-controlled document repositories and standardized templates to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Training Compliance Oversight Monitoring
    Utilize learning management systems to monitor training completion, generate automated reports, and trigger reminders for outstanding items.
  • Content & Communications Support
    Use content management systems to format, edit, and distribute compliance materials (e.g., briefs, training decks, videos). Leverage collaboration tools for scheduling, file management, and internal communications.
  • Licensing & Investigation Support
    Centralize facility license tracking through digital compliance platforms and automate reminders for audits and inspections. Provide secure document sharing for licensing and accreditation processes.
  • Process Documentation
    Document workflows in process automation tools to support internal and external audits, ensuring repeatability and scalability.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in designing and maintaining automated work environments
  • Proficiency in business intelligence and reporting (Tableau, Power Automate, SQL, and similar)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Public Health, Legal Studies, or related field (required).
  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, CMS regulations, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback Statute.
  • Certification in healthcare compliance (e.g., CHC, CPCO, CCEP) is preferred but not required
  • Experience working in a remote job environment
