US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Medical Assistant to join our team at Fort Worth Heart in Fort Worth TX. area.

Responsibilities:

• Take and record patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Perform venipuncture and other laboratory tests as required, while adhering to safety protocols.
• Manage electronic health records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
• Perform basic cardiology-related procedures, such as EKGs, Holter monitor placements, and stress tests, under supervision or as directed by physicians
• Handle multi-line phone systems and communicate effectively with patients, scheduling appointments and addressing inquiries.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a medical assistant training program or equivalent experience.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Bilingual skills in English and another language.
