Medical Records Specialist (1794)

US Heart and Vascular is needing a Medical Records Specialist to join our team at Houston Cardiovascular Associates in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor voicemail box and calls from call center for records requests
• Coordinate with Referral Coordinators on incoming and outgoing records requests
• Additional duties as assigned based on practice needs
• Monitor fax box
• Email management
• Additional duties as assigned based on practice needs

Requirements:

• High school diploma or Texas accredited GED.
• Cardiology practice experience preferred but not required.
• Fluently speaks, reads, and writes English.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Actively demonstrate teamwork at all times.
