Description
US Heart and Vascular is seeking a Remote Patient Engagement Manger to join our team.
Position Summary:This role oversees administration, optimization, and governance of all patient-facing communication tools, including Healow (eClinicalWorks) and Phreesia, ensuring that digital workflows support operational efficiency, access, and patient satisfaction. The Manager partners closely with cross-functional teams to standardize processes, drive platform adoption, and deliver measurable improvements in engagement performance.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Patient Administration & Analytics
- Manage configuration, settings, templates, and content for Healow and Phreesia.
- Maintain patient portal functionality, workflows, and provider/location configurations.
- Monitor system performance, portal adoption, login success, registration completion, check-in rates, and digital payment usage.
- Resolve system, workflow, and device issues in collaboration with IT and Clinical Applications.
Digital Communication Governance
- Lead enterprise approval process for all outbound patient-facing messages across digital platforms.
- Standardize communication content across platforms and markets.
- Maintain oversight of reply routing, inbox management, and patient message workflows to ensure timely, accurate responses.
- Align all communication content with brand guidelines, regulatory requirements, and organizational priorities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead testing and validation of system updates, enhancements, and new features.
- Develop training materials and job aids for frontline teams.
- Identify workflow gaps and recommend improvements or training needs.
- Support enterprise initiatives that rely on patient-facing digital tools.
Requirements:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for operational teams.
- Strong project management, documentation, and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop insights that inform decision-making.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy, consistency, and workflow reliability.
- Proven ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple priorities in a complex environment.

- Working knowledge of Office 365 programs such as Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience
- Three (3) years’ experience administering digital patient engagement platforms (Healow, Phreesia, or similar).
- Experience in working with ambulatory and/or management services organization setting.
- If the individual in this role will claim mileage on their expense report, a current valid state driver’s license and required minimum auto insurance coverage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare operations, patient experience, or digital communications governance.
