Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)

Location: Atlanta, GA

Position Type: Full-Time | Primarily Clinic-Based

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing cardiology practice in Atlanta. This position is primarily outpatient and clinic-focused, with limited daily inpatient support. The APP will work closely with cardiologists to provide high-quality cardiovascular care, manage follow-up visits, and support continuity of care for established patients. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, expanding cardiology network with a strong emphasis on patient-centered, comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities

Outpatient Clinic Care (Primary Focus)

  • Conduct outpatient clinic visits, including routine follow-ups, chronic disease management, and evaluation of ongoing cardiac concerns.
  • Support continuity of care by following patients post-hospitalization and integrating them into ongoing outpatient management.
  • Provide clinical support within the cardiology clinic, including patient education and assistance with diagnostic testing such as imaging, treadmill studies, and cardiac monitoring.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists to ensure efficient patient flow and a well-coordinated clinic experience.

Inpatient & Hospital Support (Limited Daily Component)

  • Assist with hospital-based follow-up and coordination of care in collaboration with the cardiology team.
  • Support smooth transitions from hospital to outpatient care.

Qualifications

  • Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Georgia.
  • Prior cardiology experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills in an outpatient setting; comfort supporting limited inpatient consults.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, physician-led team.
