Registered Nurse (2266)

US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Registered Nurse to join our team at Brimingham Heart Clinic located in Birmingham, AL

Responsibilities:

• Patient assessment, procedural support, monitoring sedation, documentation, and maintaining regulatory and safety standards.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing outpatient interventional or procedural treatments within the OBL.
• Prepare patients for procedures including reviewing medical history, obtaining vital signs, and confirming consent.
• Administer medications and monitor moderate sedation when appropriate.
• Provide post-procedure care, discharge instructions, and follow-up communication with patients.
• Maintain stock medications, medical supplies, and procedural equipment.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Maintain narcotic logs and medication inventory.
• Ensure compliance with nursing practice standards and facility policies

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Preferred PACU, Cath lab, ambulatory experience but not required.
