Ultrasound Technician (2435)

Vascular Sonographer | Davis Vein and Vascular | Houston, TX

US Heart and Vascular is in need of a PRN Vascular Sonographer to join our team at Davis Vein and Vascular in North Houston, TX.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform vascular ultrasound examinations including lower extremity arterial, venous including insufficiency/ reflux scans, carotids, ABIs and abdominal studies.
• Assist physicians in vein procedures such as vein mapping, vein ablations, sclerotherapy, and ultrasound-guided access. Experience preferred, not required.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure high-quality imaging for diagnostic interpretation.
• Educate and prepare patients for vein procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.

Knowledge, Skills and Requirements

• Must have excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
• Must be experienced and work independently in a very busy private vascular practice setting.
• BLS/CPR preferred
• Active credentials by either ARDMS or CCI.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday – 2-3 days a week is preferred.
• No nights/no weekends
• Sonographer will need to be available to travel to different office locations as needed.
