Description
US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Manager of Clinical Service to join our team at Heartland Cardiology in Wichita KS.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Establishes work objectives for clinical programs, determines short- and long-range goals, and plans and implements strategies to achieve goals.

Maintains awareness of long- and short-term goals of USHV and recognizes opportunities for potential involvement in new service areas.

Consults with and advises the Director regarding needs, goals, future, and problems pertinent to clinical programs.

Serves as clinical resource to supervisory and training staff.

Assures that professional and support staff properly implement clinical policies and procedures.

Evaluates, counsels, and promotes the growth and development of the clinical staff.

Evaluates the effectiveness of services provided and, in collaboration with staff, devises improved techniques and methods of implementation consistent with national trends in the delivery of patient care.

Works with clinical staff to plan, direct, and/or participate in research studies.

Coordinates, develops, and maintains quality assurance and program evaluation systems.

Demonstrates knowledge of Federal and State rules and regulations, JCAHO (Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations) standards, and other regulatory requirements.

Maintains records for Federal, State, and other appropriate license accreditation.

Maintains a safe workplace by following established safety protocols, reporting hazards, and participating in required safety training.

When position requires travel to/from other locations, ensures vehicles are operated and maintained in compliance with all safety, regulatory, and company requirements.

Fosters a team-oriented environment by encouraging cooperation, providing support, and resolving conflicts constructively.

Follows processes and policies for the organization.

Reports to work as scheduled, ready to perform duties, and promptly notify their supervisor of any attendance issues.
Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in business administration, Healthcare Management, or a closely related field

Six (6) years of experience in managing compliance and human resource's function.

If the individual in the role will drive for work purposes, a current valid state driver’s license and required minimum auto insurance coverage.
