Description
US Heart and Vascular is needing a Remote Integration Project Manager to join our team.
Position Summary:
The Project Manager, Integration is responsible for executing the day-to-day integration of newly acquired or affiliated practices, ensuring alignment with organizational standards across operations, clinical workflows, systems, and support functions.
Reporting to the Director of Integration, this role manages detailed integration plans, coordinates cross-functional activities, and ensures timely, high-quality execution from pre-close through post-integration stabilization.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Support end-to-end integration efforts, including planning, execution, and post-integration follow-up
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables across multiple functions
- Track milestones and ensure integrations are progressing on schedule and within scop
- Coordinate with operations, clinical leadership, HR, finance, IT, and compliance teams to execute integration activities
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings to align on priorities, timelines, and issue resolution
- Act as a key point of contact for integration-related communication across stakeholders
- Support standardization of workflows, policies, and procedures across newly integrated practices
- Coordinate EMR/EHR transitions, data migration, system access, and training activities with IT and clinical teams
- Assist with aligning HR, payroll, benefits, and compliance processes to enterprise standards
- Support communication plans to ensure clear, consistent messaging throughout the integration lifecycle
- Coordinate training sessions and onboarding activities for practice staff
- Monitor adoption of new processes and escalate gaps or resistance to leadership
- Identify integration risks, dependencies, and gaps; escalate and support mitigation planning
- Ensure timely escalation of issues impacting timelines, scope, or outcomes
- Maintain clear documentation of risks, actions, and resolutions
- Track and report on integration KPIs, milestones, and deliverables
- Provide regular updates to the Director of Integration and key stakeholders
- Support post-integration reviews and continuous improvement efforts
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Strong project and program management expertise
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to drive alignment across cross-functional teams
- Data-driven decision-making and performance management mindset
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems and healthcare operations
- Knowledge of the principles, concepts, and theories relevant to the assigned functional area.
- Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing in English, to various audiences including leaders and frontline employees.
- Ability to manage time, organize work, set priorities, meet deadlines, and follow up on work assignments with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work independently, and as a team, to complete daily activities according to the work schedule.
- Working knowledge of Office 365 programs such as Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Supports the Mission, Vision and Values of USHV and the practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in healthcare operations or integration support
- Current valid state driver’s license and required minimum auto insurance coverage.
- Experience in healthcare, MSO, or multi-site organizations preferred but not required
- Understanding pf physician practice operations preferred but not required
