Description

US Heart and Vascular is needing a Remote Human Resource Generalist to join our amazing HR team in Nashville, TN.

Candidates must live in the Nashville TN area.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for both complex and routine administrative services for Human Resources. The HR Generalist works closely with practice leadership, payroll, recruiting, etc. to ensure success of all HR requirements, policies and procedures. Additionally, this position maintains the employee system of record for Human Resources.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Advises associates on a wide range of Human Resource matters.
  • Leads the onboarding program for USHV.
  • Manages employee relations practices necessary to maintain a positive employee-employer relationship and promote a high level of employee commitment.
  • Interact effectively and build relationships within and between departments and among individuals.
  • Advises and supports associates in the handling of employee relations matters involving a suspension or discharge. Support the practices in resolving matters of conflict at the earliest opportunity and providing an independent mediation role where appropriate.
  • Escalates concerns to Regional HR Business Partner in relation to HR business risk and other HR related matters.
  • Monitors and analyzes data including turnover rates, unemployment, recruiting and Workers' Compensation.
  • Take responsibility for specific HR-related projects and reports.
  • Maintains a safe workplace by following established safety protocols, reporting hazards, and participating in required safety training.
  • Fosters a team-oriented environment by encouraging cooperation, providing support, and resolving conflicts constructively.
  • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and respect in all interactions.
  • Follows processes and policies for the organization.
  • Reports to work as scheduled, ready to perform duties, and promptly notifies their supervisor of any attendance issues
  • Adapts to changing priorities, processes, and business needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED from accredited institution.
  • Three (3) years of Human Resources experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Excel, data analysis, and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Paycom, HRIS system of record.
  • Experience in a medical environment is preferred
