US Heart and Vascular is needing a Medical Front Office Supervisor to join our team at Cardiovascular Clinic of North Georgia in Gainesville, GA

Position Summary

Supervises the operations and staff of medical office/clinic(s) front desk, assuring all staff adhere to standard operating procedures, resulting in efficient and smooth operations and a high level of service and patient care.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Directs the workflow and processes of the front desk.

  • Interviews, selects, hires, orients, and trains and new employees.

  • Establishes performance standards, procedural guidelines, and policies.

  • Evaluates staff performance and administers corrective actions when needed.

  • Provides technical support and guidance to front desk staff, sharing expertise and knowledge.

  • Handles and resolves guest/patient issues, and complaints, satisfactorily when they arise.

  • Communicates, collaborates, and coordinates with other departments to fulfill patient needs.

  • Assures computer and other equipment is functioning properly.

  • When position requires travel to/from other locations, ensures vehicles are operated and maintained in compliance with all safety, regulatory, and company requirements.

  • Fosters a team-oriented environment by encouraging cooperation, providing support, and resolving conflicts constructively.

  • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and respect in all interactions Follows processes and policies for the organization.

  • Reports to work as scheduled, ready to perform duties, and promptly notifies the supervisor of any attendance issues.

  • Adapts to changing priorities, processes, and business needs.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED from accredited institution.

  • Two (2) years medical office experience.

  • If the individual in the role will be driving for work purposes, a current valid state driver’s license and required minimum auto insurance coverage.

  • Cardiology Practice experience preferred but not required

  • Supervisory experience preferred but not required
